VISA APPLICATION INFORMATION

To obtain a single entry, double entry or multiple entry visas for travel to the Republic of Azerbaijan residents of South Africa must come to the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Pretoria in person on Tuesday and Friday between 10 A.M. and 4 P.M.

Applications processing time is 3-5 business days.

The following documents must be submitted to the Consular Section of the Embassy:

1. Completed visa application form;
2. Valid original passport with at least on clear page for the visa;
3. Two passport sized coloured photos of the applicant taken within the last 6 months to reflect the current appearance;
4. Flight information;
5. The invitation letter;

• For multiple entry business visa - Invitation letter approved by Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
• For single entry business visa- the invitation letter from receiving party along with the state registration certificate of the company/organization;
• For private visit- the invitation letter from Azerbaijani citizen or foreign citizen currently residing in Azerbaijan along with their Azerbaijani ID (şəxsiyyət vəsiqəsi);
• For touristic visa – copy of hotel reservation;

1. Consular fee for the South African citizens: single entry - $20 US dollars and multiple entry 350 US dollars. The invoice for the payment will be issued to the applicant when all the documents are submitted.
