The International Exhibition-Conference of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) - Telecom World 2018

The international exhibition-conference of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) - Telecom World 2018, was held in Durban, the Republic of South Africa on 10-13 September 2018.

The delegation of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan led by Deputy Minister Elmir Velizade took part at this event.

Azerbaijan was represented by National Pavilion at the exhibition, where achievements, innovative services, applications and solutions in the ICT sector were demonstrated.

Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union Houlin Zhao visited Azerbaijan National Pavilion and was interested in the services and projects presented there. Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Elmir Velizade gave detailed information on the projects implemented in our country in the field of ICT.
